Alaroop brings the original things back into our homes: the grain as it was harvested, the water jug as our grandparents shaped it.

Why Alaroop?

We never stopped loving the old things; we just stopped finding them. The originals stayed in old markets with no brand, and modern brands changed the product itself. Alaroop brings both together: the original product, in a form worthy of your home today.

Our promise

Nothing added: as nature made it, as craft shaped it.

What we offer

  • Pantry: seeds, whole grains and doum in a clear jar, so you can see what is inside.
  • Clay: the qolla, cups, bowls and tagines in a modern shape.
  • Gifts: curated sets wrapped in kraft and stamped with our seal.

The grain came from the earth, and so did the jug. We added nothing to them, except a shape worthy of your home today. Alaroop: the original, made for today.
